There's the whole story in this moment. Obama administration filled with hope, love, compassion and committed to helping Americans at home, and so able to represent the USA abroad with dignity, diplomacy and good manners. Contrast Trump, filled with hate, rage and resentment, determined to divide the country, so the deplorables don't see his ignorance, intolerance, incompetence and vulgarity, his total lack of understanding of economics, trade, and alliances, and ordinary civil debate. Whether he knows his unfitness for office, I don't know. He's an insecure man, trying to be tough and macho in a world he knows nothing about, so he tries to bully his way. He gets laughed at by experienced world leaders, and manipulated by the thugs like Putin, who know all he needs is to be flattered, and he's putty in their hands. Until he and his followers, including in Congress, are held accountable and expelled from office, he has turned a once great country into a global laughing stock, and alienated the friends we have had since the end of WW2.

Seeing the political world as it is at the moment, I can't help but feel sentimental when viewing this video. Where is the courage of any party in the USA to nominate a candidate of non-wasp origin. Everything seems to be spiralling backwards these days, not only in the USA.
